"Don't get locked out"

Always carry a fun keychain to either dangle on your bag or let them live in  the bottom of your handbag,

Tonite I will be volunteering at Gilda's Club with the younger members.
I bought lots of fun beads and key rings. We will create  beaded key chains or zipper pulls to help open up those weighty backpacks.

Can't wait to see what my creative kids will design. See you all tonite,

"Grand Kats"

Sometimes life brings incredible changes, and we must be open to accept these wonderful events. I have always been allergic to "Kats", as I refer to them, but my wonderful son, Jeremy and Allison are now raising Leelee, who is a delightful dog like "kat", and I am not allergic to her or is my allergy ridden husband. Leellee parent's refer to us as Grandma and Grandpa, and we are luving playing and enjoying her. This is truly a miracle.

Color me Pink on the E train

On the way to meet SL, I looked around, everyone was wearing a sea of grey and black. Then the door opened and in came a sweet little princess with her wonderful feet all sparkeled in pink! She made my morning on this grey day!

Today BZ and I sat around her kitchen table playing around with our blogs. All I could think about is how our mothers use to sit around the kitchen table playing Mahjong and passing the Bamboo tiles to their left. I use to luv Tuesday nights when her "girls" would come over, she would always prepare such a spread of desserts. My favorite night of the week. Miss that!

TAI CHI

On Thursday nights, I take Chi Kong with a group of very supportive women.  I met them only about 6 weeks ago, but they have been so  helpful as I go through a challenging career search. The movements and spiritual sensations of Tai Chi feel so right at a time when my body and soul need positive energy. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get more in touch with their body and mind in a very peaceful and gentle way!
What I continue to appreciate is how important friendship is and how lucky I am to have several good friends that are always there. Friendship can't be measured, but when you offer your caring and empathy to someone close, you really give the gift of life! We should never take friendship for granted.

Career Search

Today I attended an Advertising Women in NY breakfast and heard a great panel of advertisers discuss social marketing and how they are incorporating this into their media plans.
Now that I am searching for a new career path, I find networking with new peers very helpful and rewarding. Today I met several new contacts, but especially enjoyed chatting with my table mates.  They were all successful women in some form of media and marketing. I am looking forward to networking with new contacts in a variety of media platforms.
